Reading: Psalm 121:1-2
1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
Thought for Reflection:
On the journey we are on there will be lots of testing and troubles – life is like that for most people. Sometimes these will dominate the landscape like mountains and threaten to overwhelm us. As pilgrims, however, we have a secret that helps us to overcome them: our help does not come from better equipment or changes in our circumstances but from The Lord who made everything – even the mighty peaks! He understands us and will make a way through obstacles today and tomorrow.
Prayer:
Lord open my eyes to your way and let me know today that I can trust you to come to my help.
