Bible Reading: Genesis 1:26-27 NIV [26] Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” [27] So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
Thought for Reflection: Here is an amazing thing – there is something in you and me that is an image of God – like a photo of someone shows something of their character so our lives show something of God! Often that image gets messed up or cloudy but as we allow Gods Holy Spirit to work in us the image becomes clearer and other people may be able to get an idea of what God is like. Look for Gods image in everyone we meet today – we may get some surprises!
Prayer: Lord help me to look for you in others today and to allow your image to be seen in me.
