Serving Jesus in Our Community

Bible Notes

Tuesday 8th October 2013

Reading: 1 Kings 17:5-6

[5] So he did what the Lord had told him. He went to the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan, and stayed there. [6] The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening, and he drank from the brook.

Thought for Reflection: This is a pretty weird away for God to provide food! On the nursery we get crows flying in with MacDonald bags but I have never eaten from them (yet!). God does not always use the methods of caring for us that we expect but he does always do what he has promised and today we will find his care and provision.

Prayer: Thank you Father that nothing is too small for your concern and that you know what I face today.
