2 Chronicles 20:15 NIV
[15] He said: “Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.
King Jehoshaphat (now there’s a neglected name!) facing the combined armies of his enemies in a hopelessly uneven contest comes to God with a plea for help and this is Gods answer!
Do not be afraid…….see whose battle this is! Today you may feel as if you face the whole world alone with the light of the good news about Jesus but don’t despair – with God on your side you are a winning team!
Lord, help me to know your power and reassurance today that I might see you at work in your battle!
