Ephesians 5:19-21 NIV
[19] speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, [20] always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. [21] Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.
This is a rather lovely picture of when we come together – imagine what coffee time sounds like from heaven!!!! But what a simple set of priorities for life is here – Give thanks to God for everything…..Love one another…..Live in the name of Jesus – then we find that we submit to one another because we love and honour God so I can’t possibly fight for my own way – no wonder we sing!!!!
Father we thank you for the good times and the tough challenges when we find how much you love us and how much we love one another. Keep us singing!
