Proverbs 23:26 NIV
[26] My son, give me your heart and let your eyes delight in my ways,
What is it that God wants? He longs for our heart – the centre of our love and being. The object of our ambition and the place of security. “My Son” doesn’t refer here just to males – it is to the heir, the one who inherits the riches of the Father and in Christ Jesus there is neither male nor female but we are all fellow heirs with Jesus – this is wonderful!
Lord you have my heart
And I will search for yours
Jesus take my life and lead me on.
Lord you have my heart
And I will search for yours
Let me be to you a sacrifice.
