Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Part of offering our whole lives to God is dedicating the way we think and see the world around us to him, letting him mould our vision to gradually match his. If we change the way we think that will change the way we behave. The best way to do this is through reading the Bible and exploring what it means for our lives with others – it is always good to do this with others as otherwise it is easy to mishear what it says due to our own prejudices and misunderstandings.
Spirit, help us together to learn to see you and your world more clearly.
