Romans 6:8-10 (25.09.19)

Romans 6:8-10 NIV
Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. [9] For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. [10] The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.

‘The life he lives he lives to God.’
Forget the old TV show ‘Whose Line is it Anyway?’, this is a case of ‘Whose Life is it Anyway?’! God the Son has given his life to deal with our brokenness, our sinfulness. Because of our faith in him, God the Father has raised us in Jesus to a new life. God the Spirit enables us to live this life God’s way. Our life is God’s life – achieved, given and enabled by him – so let’s live it for him!

‘Take my life and let it be consecrated Lord to thee…’
