Fools find no pleasure in understanding but delight in airing their own opinions.
God has made us to live in community, one of the reasons that we might struggle with lockdown and isolation. One of the benefits of being around others is that we can learn from each other, from others’ insights and experiences. Within the church, we can gain a greater appreciation of God from each others’ stories and understandings, but this is not just limited to the church, everyone has something we can learn from.
Father, help me to learn from those I communicate with today, remind me to listen.
