Serving Jesus in Our Community

Virtual Church

Virtual Service 19 (26.07.20)

This isn't the video, that's below!

Welcome to this week’s #virtualservice! This week we’re reflecting on change, the change Jesus brings to our lives and the changes we’d like to make to the world and how we live, and what we can do to bring those changes about. As always a big thank you to all who contributed to the service. Do join us for a post service cuppa and chat – details below the video along with other information related to today’s service.

Poll
In the service Ben mentions voting in a poll. The poll is only open on the morning of the service (26th July, 10.30-12noon).

This poll is no longer accepting votes

What should we consign to Room 101? (Watch today's service before voting!)

Great music from you both this week!

Thank thank thank you, I have some sad news, but also some extremely wonderful news.
Our sad news, is that we list a dearly beloved cousin last Saturday, unexpectedly. So we have all rallied round virtually… Her grown up children have been informed that they can stay in the house (social housing) long term, so at least they one less thing to worry about. They also have had huge responses to their financial plight, and raised over twice the amount for her funeral (due to insurance problems). My good news is that, a very close family member from the other side of my family has been in touch, and we are meeting up in the near future, after a very long absence in each other’s life. I’m truly grateful, and feel extremely blessed by this. Don’t think I’ve received an email regarding reopening though. Thank you everyone for all your amazing hard work during these times.
Much love, may God bless you all xx

Thanks Lisa, praying for you all. The email went around those on our ‘internal’ news email list, let me know if you want to be on it. The quick version is that we’re not opening just yet and will review in September – Slipe Lane is just too small to get folks in safely.
