Psalm 121 v. 3-4
A song of ascents.
He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
The psalmist shares a wonderful promise with us all today. God watches over and protects his people intensely at all times and in all places, fully, completely and with total concentration. God is saying to us: “You are mine and I am yours, and you are very precious to me.” Never forget God’s love for us is endless. If you stay close to Him you will not take a wrong turn.
God of heaven and earth, I trust and place myself into your safekeeping. Keep me safe in your love and guard me along the road I must travel today.
