Isaiah 40:29-31 NIV
[29] He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. [30] Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; [31] but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
This is such a great and practical promise – tired of the pressures of life? Not sure how to go forward? See what happens when we hope in the Lord – he renews our strength! Don’t feel guilty and despairing when we are tired but hope in the Lord and discover his renewing power – today!!
Lord, help me to hope in you and not in the things of the world so that in your strength I can boldly serve you today.
