Ephesians 1: 20-21
That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.

Here is a triumphant and explicit declaration about the power of God. In an era when we are daily witnessing unprincipled political power exercised cross the world, with neither moral compass nor compassion, we are reminded that there is One who is greater than all: where all the power and authority of heaven and earth truly reside. It is held by our Saviour God, who was and is and is to come. We are His witnesses to it in this day and to this age.

Lord Jesus you have authority and power beyond any earthly ruler or dominion. We praise your Holy name and give thanks that you have raised us up to speak truth to the power of this age. We know that through your death and resurrection your promises will be fulfilled and that at the end of time we will sit at your right hand.
