Serving Jesus in Our Community

Bible Notes

Acts 10:34-37 (14.06.18)

Acts 10:34- 37
Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favouritism 35 but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right. 36 You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, announcing the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.” 37

We are all God’s people says Peter and considered so in the sight of God. This tracks back to Jesus, friend of tax collectors and sinners who debated on equal terms with the highest authorities in the land and spoke as an equal with the lowest. Here is our challenge – how do we treat other people and do we live at peace with them?

I pray today to our Father in Heaven that I might see Him in every person and will treat every person with dignity, honour and respect in the name of Jesus Christ, our risen Lord and Saviour.
