Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV
[5] Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
[6] in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
There are times when faith seems foolish! When the natural respose is fear, despair or panic. At times like this we discover what we are really trusting in and when we find that we can trust the Lord Jesus for every detail then the result will be joy and a safe path through whatever storms beset our way.
The Lord longs for our heart – our love, our trust, our confidence, our life – to submit to him is the best possible!
When we walk with the Lord
In the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way;
While we do His good will,
He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.
Trust and obey,
For there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus,
But to trust and obey.
