John 13:10-11 NIV
Jesus answered, “Those who have had a bath need only to wash their feet; their whole body is clean. And you are clean, though not every one of you.” [11] For he knew who was going to betray him, and that was why he said not every one was clean.
The foot washing was an amazing act of humility and love, and all the more so when you realise that Jesus washed Judas’ feet knowing that he was about to betray him. Who should we serve? The answer seems to be anyone and everyone.
Jesus, your compassion and humility is breath-taking. Who else is there whose compassion extends so far?
