Ephesians 1:15-16 NIV
[15] For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people, [16] I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. [17] I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.
Faith in the Lord Jesus produces a harvest of good things – one of them is love! Love for others everywhere and love for God’s people. As we grow in our faith so our love should always be fresh and alive and this happens as our Father gives us his Spirit of wisdom and revelation to know him better. That is a great aim and will keep us joyful to the end!
When we walk with the Lord in the light of his Word
What a glory he sheds on our way!
While we do his good will, he abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.
