2 Chronicles 5:13-14 NIV
[13] The trumpeters and musicians joined in unison to give praise and thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, the singers raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang: “He is good; his love endures forever.” Then the temple of the Lord was filled with the cloud, [14] and the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the temple of God.
One of the wonderful things about worship is joining together to praise and give thanks to the Lord and this is something that is not so easy at the moment! We need to find new ways of worshipping together and as a church we have been blest by joining together virtually and singing along in unison even when we are apart. This is a different sort of unison but it comes from hearts filled with one desire – to worship and praise the Lord Jesus for his love which endures forever. And when we do join together? The glory of the Lord fills his temple – which, wonderfully, is you and me and millions of others all over the world and down through the ages!
Lord God, our Saviour and Creator, we worship you for your love which lasts forever!
And I will sing for all my days
Of heaven’s love come down.
Each breath I take will speak His praise
Until He calls me home.
