This week we’re continuing to reflect on the scripture behind the topics explored on Sunday morning.
Genesis 1:26-27 NIV
Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” [27] So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
God made all humanity in his image, regardless of race or gender or nationality or creed or politics. We are all made by him, sustained by him and designed to reflect him in our lives.
Prayerfully think of the people you might interact with this week either physically or virtually. What difference does it make if you see them as made by God? Give thanks to God for them!
