6 “Seek the Lord while he may be found;
call upon him while he is near;
Last week we thought about Mary and Joseph frantically searching for Jesus when they lost sight of him, Jesus being at the Temple, ‘searching’ for his Heavenly Father. Isaiah (who we are studying on Wednesday evenings – come and join us!) calls us to make searching for God a priority, for he is near, within reach. He encourages us to hail him, a bit like we might an approaching bus, before he passes and its too late.
Father, I want to be part of what you’re doing this coming day, I want to be with you! Spirit, help me to grasp the opportunities you present to me today, and not let them pass by.
