Revelation 22:20-21
20 He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.
The Bible ends with this expectant promise, one day Jesus will return and complete his work of making all things new and putting all things right. Although these are the last words, the book doesn’t finish, but is left open-ended, inviting us to join the author in this prayer and hopeful waiting. Let’s make his prayer our Advent prayer…
