Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
This is Peter who had made quite a mess up but had been restored by the Lord Jesus – he knew how amazing the new birth into a living hope really was and it was all because of the resurrection of Jesus – he is alive forevermore!
Christ the Lord is risen today, Alleluia!
