Reading: Psalm 121:3-4
3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
Thought for Reflection:
There are lots of times when I am not fully awake – even during the day and especially if reading the newspaper – and sometimes that makes me inattentive to what people say. God is not like that! Even if we have lost our focus and slipped away from him a bit, he knows what is going on and will not overlook us. Today, he watches over us and our journey will be transformed when we discover that.
Prayer:
Lord, as you watch over me today, so let me look out for you and find your way and your presence in all the details of the day.
