Thursday 27th June
Reading: Psalm 126:1-3
1 When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion,
we were like those who dreamed.
2 Our mouths were filled with laughter,
our tongues with songs of joy.
Then it was said among the nations,
“The Lord has done great things for them.”
3 The Lord has done great things for us,
and we are filled with joy.
Thought for Reflection:
We all lead busy lives and spend far too much time living in the ‘now’. How good it is for us to put aside time to reflect on God’s great provision and his faithfulness. Take some time out today to sit quietly or walk in a peaceful place to remember the many great things God has done in your life. I guarantee you will feel refreshed with a renewed joy in your heart.
Prayer:
Lord, How quickly we forget what you have done for us, help us to reflect and praise you for your great provision in our lives.
