Matthew 24:23-25 NIV
At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. [24] For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. [25] See, I have told you ahead of time.
When life gets tough, we instinctively reach out for someone to help us. Jesus’ message for his disciples, and for us, is when those times come, especially if our faith is challenged, take care who you reach out to. Is the person you’re looking to really got your interests at heart, and are they aligned with God. Ultimately, Jesus is always the best choice.
You are my rock, my salvation, help me build my life on you.
