Micah 5:2 (23.12.19)

Micah 5:2 NIV
“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.”

God has a habit of turning things upside-down, choosing the smallest and the least, those that we would overlook, to remind us that all are important and valued. So it was with Jesus, born to Bethlehem, a no where town in the land of the smallest tribe of Judah.

Father, help us to see the little and the least.
