Romans 8.38-39
[38] For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, [39] neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
We are experiencing separation from our loved ones, from our friends and neighbours, many of us from our colleagues too. Perhaps we feel separated from our favourite beauty spot, or the bustle of London, or from our favourite coffee shop, or our hairdresser. But nothing at all can separate us from God’s love, from his presence or from his power. He is right here with us, no matter what is going on in the world around us.
Every time you turn a tap today or hear the headlines, thank God that he is right with us, and with you, at that moment.
