Revelation 22:5 NIV
[5] There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.
As we look forward through the darkness of advent to the coming of the light of the world, the myriad of little lights bring hope and comfort. Here God reveals the great hope – that there is a day coming when the darkness and despondency will be done away forever because we will dwell with him, the source of all light, forever. That is going to be a good day!
There is a day
That all creation’s waiting for,
A day of freedom and liberation for the earth.
