Psalm 91:8-10
[8] You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. [9] If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, [10] no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent.
There is something we have to do here – we make the most high our dwelling and we say that the Lord is our refuge – where do we put our trust and how do we show that in our actions? To have a strong refuge gives us confidence and peace even when the storms rage. Today as much as ever, we need to commit to God.
We have an anchor that keeps the soul
steadfast and sure while the billows roll;
fastened to the Rock which cannot move,
grounded firm and deep in the Saviour’s love
