1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (NIVUK)
19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honour God with your bodies.

Continuing this weekend’s train of thought, the resurrection means that we are never alone because it opened the way the Spirit to be sent to dwell with us. This wonderful gift or relationship comes with a responsibility. When we have visitors at home, I have a responsibility as the host to make their stay pleasant and comfortable. As hosts for the Holy Spirit, we have responsibilities too, to look after our bodies and live appropriately.
