19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?…
The Holy Spirit lives in us. There are two ways we could take this. We could go in a negative direction and talk about all the things we therefore should do, or places we couldn’t go, and that is what Paul does in seeking to address an aspect of the lives of the people in Corinth. But I don’t want to do this. I want to take the positive turn: God has chosen to live in us and with us! What a fantastic privilege, how exciting to think that God wants to be with us all the time, wherever we are.
