1 Peter 4:10-11 (NIVUK)
10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. 11 If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

Yesterday we explored the story of Selina, Countess of Huntingdon, and how she came to faith and its impact on her life. One of the things that has always struck me about her was that she made the most of where she found herself in life and the resources she had to communicate the Gospel and meet the needs of others. I’m not aware of any nobles in our congregation, but God has placed each of us where we are. We are God’s person on the spot. How can you use who you are and what you have to serve him there.

God you have brought me here to this moment. What is it I can do for you today?
