Ephesians 6:18-20 (NIVUK)
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. 19 Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.

Paul encourages the Ephesians to pray not just for themselves but for others of faith without prejudice (keep praying for ALL the Lord’s people). One of the joys of our relationship with the Connexion in Sierra Leone is knowing that we have a partnership of prayer with them – we pray for them and they pray for us, despite the fact that most of us will never meet each other. I know that they were very much praying for us during the pandemic, just as we prayed for them during their Ebola outbreak.

Take some time to pray for our brothers and sisters in Sierra Leone. If you need some inspiration, check out the Connexion website: https://www.cofhconnexion.org.uk/what-s-new#cat-Sierra-Leone or pray simply that they might continue to fearlessly declare the gospel.
