Our summer season finished with a celebration of the 25 years that our minister and his family have been with us at Wormley Free Church. With August behind us, our activities are beginning to start up again, many having been suspended to give people the chance to take a break, go on holiday, look after the children/grandchildren, and generally take stock.
Foodbank – the foodbank will continue to distribute food from the church Monday – Friday for guests who have been referred to us. Find out more here.
Prayer Meeting – after its summer break, our weekly online prayer meeting begins again on Monday 9th September.
Drop In – our weekly lunch for those who’d like to drop in and join us will continue to take place on Tuesday lunch times from 1-2.30pm.
Saracens Cheer & Dance – this is a regular group who hire the hall to run children’s cheerleading sessions. This Autumn they will be running on Tuesday evenings, 5.15-6.30pm, on 10th September – 22nd October, and 5th November to 10th December.
Toddlers – our Toddler Group is restarting on the 11th September and will run on Wednesday mornings from 9.30-11.15am, taking a break on the 30th October and 6th November, and finishing with its Christmas party on the 18th December (t.b.c.)
Bible Study – after its summer break, the weekly online Bible Study restarts on the 4th September.
Cocaine Anonymous – hire our hall for meetings on Wednesday evenings from 7.30-9pm to support those with drug or alcohol problems. Details can be found on their webpage.
Conversation Cafe – our informal conversation group for those who speak English runs on Fridays from 1-2pm and restarts on Friday 13th September.
Sunday Services – our Sunday services continue to take place at Wormley Community Centre on Sunday mornings, 10.30-11.45am.
