As a church, we’re committed to making our services fun and engaging for all ages – we know church can have the reputation of being boring and out of touch and want to show that this doesn’t need to be the case. In fact, with God it should be quite the reverse, after all Jesus turned water into wine and is famed for being at parties! David took this to a whole new level this Sunday with a reproduction of Solomon’s Temple being filled ‘with the cloud’ of God’s Presence in 2 Chronicles 5, using dry ice and a special wooden chest.
The service can be seen in whole here. David’s illustration comes from ~25 minutes in, although I’m afraid the cloud is mostly off camera at that point… The service also contained our very own ‘Long Lost Families’ episode with a wonderful story from an old friend of ours from 14.30 min.
