This week’s activities have all surrounded celebrating Christmas with our local community. The week started with a trip to Broxbourne Nursing Home to join them for an evening of carols. This was a really enjoyable evening, and we hope the start of a new annual tradition! Singing, especially singing carols, is a great way of bringing together people of all ages and backgrounds. It continued with Christmas themed services and Christingle Services at Broxbourne Primary School and Wormley Primary School, with Ben, our minister, ‘attempting’ card tricks to tell the Christmas Story…
This Sunday (22nd) we invite our local community to come and join us for our Carol Service at the Community Centre at 6pm.
After the Carol Service, all our services will be at the church in Slipe Lane, returning to the Community Centre on the 5th January. We have our Christmas Eve Communion Service on Tuesday 24th December at 11.30pm, and Christmas Day Celebration at 10.30am on the 25th. Our all-age service on 29th will also be at Slipe Lane at 10.30m.
Can we take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
