Easter Eggs

Christ has died, Christ has risen Christ will come again!

On Sunday we celebrated the resurrection of Jesus, the glorious story of God raising his Son back to life having laid it down for us. As part of our all-age service we made the eggs in the photo above (thanks Paul & Wendy!) Although the tradition of giving Easter eggs is not found in the Bible, it is a fitting symbol, a symbol of new life, the new life that Jesus offers us.

We believe it is possible to come to know the risen Jesus even today some two thousand years later. If the Easter story intrigues you or you would love to know more or to experience a fresh start and new life today, please do get in touch, we’d love to share our experiences of him with you.

Luke 24:33-35 NIV
They got up and returned at once to Jerusalem. There they found the Eleven and those with them, assembled together [34] and saying, “It is true! The Lord has risen and has appeared to Simon.” [35] Then the two told what had happened on the way, and how Jesus was recognized by them when he broke the bread.
