Psalm 91:1 NIV
[1] Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
[2] I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
This is a wonderful psalm! Do you need rest? Or a refuge? Or a fortress? Here is one who will be all things to you and loves you beyond measure – he is to be trusted! He doesn’t remove trouble from our lives but promises the resources to deal with it – let’s make him our refuge today!
Lord Jesus, how often we need your rescue and reassurance. Let us find your presence today to stand in whatever life has in store!
