Genesis 15:1 NIV
[1] After this, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision: “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward. ”
This week we look at a few of the many times God tells us not to be afraid……
The world can be a scary place with so many changes and uncertainties and if we are to travel safely we need to know who keeps us safe. Abram discovered early on in his journey that his foundation, his shield and hope were in the Lord. That’s a very good thing for us to learn and to put into practice!
Lord Jesus, you are our rock and our protection, our salvation and our Lord. Help us to look to you today.
