Romans 12:11-13 NIV
[11] Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervour, serving the Lord. [12] Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. [13] Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.
Ephesians 1:18 NIV
[18] I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people,
“that you may know the hope which he has called you………. ” This is what will make a difference to our way of life and our conversation because the world is short of hope and so often we can be tempted to forget our hope and join in the moaning despair around us when actually we have this great hope, this realisation that God, who loves us enough to save us, has a plan and has given us a hope that is beyond anything the world can offer!
Be joyful in hope!! Jesus is coming!
Lord Jesus, in the darkness your light shines, in trouble we have the hope you have called us to. Let us show the the difference you make today.
