Ephesians 1:15-17 NIVUK
15 For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people, 16 I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. 17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.
One of the joys of my work as a minister is seeing and hearing about what God is doing in the lives of those around me. There are so many great stories of lives changed for the better and wonderful relationships created. I can relate to what Paul writes, at least a little bit, there is nothing more encouraging than hearing these stories.
Let’s join Paul in praying for the church, giving thanks for those who have come to know Jesus over the last year, and praying that they (and we) may get to know God better through the work of his Spirit.
