Psalm 136:1-3 NIV

[1] Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good.
His love endures forever.
[2] Give thanks to the God of gods.
His love endures forever.
[3] Give thanks to the Lord of lords:
His love endures forever.

This Psalm was probably used as a call and response in the Israelites’ worship, the worship leader calling out the first half of each verse and the congregation responding with ‘His love endures forever.’ It goes on to list the many things they are thankful for, the things that he had done for them.
