Psalm 142:1-3 NIV
[1] I cry aloud to the Lord; I lift up my voice to the Lord for mercy. [2] I pour out before him my complaint; before him I tell my trouble. [3] When my spirit grows faint within me, it is you who watch over my way. In the path where I walk people have hidden a snare for me.
Through the darkness a light shines……through our troubles there is a hope and a remedy!! Do you feel troubled? Lift your voice to the Lord. Do you feel faint and tired (a very common complaint, especially at this time of year!!!)? The Lord watches over your way – receive his peace! Walk securely in his love and watchfulness.
Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged,
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful
Who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness,
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
