Ephesians 1:1-2 NIV
Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To God’s holy people in Ephesus, the faithful in Christ Jesus: [2] Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
There’s an intriguing insight in this short introduction in Paul’s letter to the church in Ephesus into what God looks for from his people. He doesn’t look for perfect people or busy people, articulate people or even talented people. What he looks for is faithful people, those who are loyal in their relationship to him.
Father, help me by your Spirit to remain strong in my relationship with you in the good days, the bad and indifferent!
