[1] That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life.
1 John 1:3-4 NIV
[3] We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. [4] We write this to make our joy complete.
Talking about what you know is always the best! When we talk about God the most powerful thing is to speak from experience – however great or small that experience may be. John wants to share what he knows about Jesus so that joy may be the result. Today we will probably meet people who are a bit short of joy – can our experience of Gods love and power make a difference to them?
Lord, let me share you with others so that our joy may be complete!
