Acts 26: 15-16
15 “Then I asked, ‘Who are you, Lord?” “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” the Lord replied. 16 ‘Now get up and stand on your feet. I have appeared to you to appoint you as a servant and as a witness of what you have seen and will see of me.
Here we have the call to mission and to proclaim the word of God. Faith in Christ is not something private. It is public and meant to be preached, to be used as the base from which Christians engage with and challenge the norms of the times in which they live. Like Paul we are called to get up and stand for Christ.
Lord fill me with your grace and give me the strength to stand for you and to bring the truth of the gospel message to others.
