Acts 26:17-18
17 I will rescue you from your own people and from the Gentiles. I am sending you to them 18 to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’
This is how God wants to work in and through us. He will save us from our enemies, from sin and death, but his method is counterintuitive – he sends his servants into their midst, to engage with them, to bring the gospel message to people who don’t want to hear it and through His grace to change their lives forever into a holy people.
Lord by grace you save, by grace send me out today into the world to bring your Good News and open a door into the lives of those I meet so that they might see you at work through me and come to know you in their lives.
