1 Peter 5:6-7 NIV
[6] Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. [7] Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
I love the word “all” in that last sentence!! God cares about every part of our life and all our anxieties matter to him. He wants us to ask him for help, to go to him with those hard things we are not proud of, and then we find that in due time – in his time which is the best, he will lift us up!
Not a burden we bear, not a sorrow we share,
But our toil He doth richly repay;
Not a grief or a loss, not a frown or a cross,
But is blessed if we trust and obey.
