Matthew 17:1-2
After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. 2 There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light.
Have you ever climbed a high mountain?
I haven’t, but I know my life can seem like it sometimes.
The stresses of life can be an uphill struggle. Illness, unemployment, loneliness…….
The disciples must have wondered what was going on when they were told to follow Jesus up a mountain, but they trusted, and followed Him.
How about you? Are you trusting and following Jesus in your everyday life?
The wonderful thing is that as Christians we know that Jesus is beside us on our life’s journey.
Trust in Him today to give you His strength to get you through.
Father, help me today. I lay these things before you…………
