Psalm 3:1-4 (07.01.20)

Psalm 3:1-4 NIV
[1] Lord, how many are my foes! How many rise up against me! [2] Many are saying of me, “God will not deliver him. ” [3] But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high. [4] I call out to the Lord, and he answers me from his holy mountain.

What battles do we face today? Money? Relationships? Work Health? Where do we look for relief? Many might say there is no hope but here the psalmist is talking from experience – he knows that the Lord is his shield and protection and so he calls out to the Lord and – wonder of wonders – the Lord answers him! Today, you can call out and you know what? The Lord, who loves you enough to die for you, will answer!!

God, my rock, my shield and my deliverer, I look to you.
